Raben Ukraine is pleased to announce the launch of a new logistics product: sea and air shipments. Now the company offers a complete package of 3PL services: contract logistics and a variety of value-added services, comprehensive solutions for fresh products, national and international road distribution, along with global freight.
The newly opened product includes sea freight forwarding of full container loads (FCL) and less than container loads (LCL) along with regular air shipments. Services are provided in the “door-to-door” system and are not new in Raben Group portfolio. For several years already Raben Sea & Air company has successfully provided multimodal shipments across the globe. Raben Sea & Air works through offices in 5 European countries and closely cooperates with all major regional sea and air ports. The company is also represented by its official agents in each and every part of the world.

Regarding Raben Ukraine’s existing connections with the whole network of the Group, the company uses not only its experience, but also infrastructure - which is 130 transport terminals and 1 million square meters of storage space. With access to Raben Sea & Air business resources, Raben Ukraine is now able to more efficiently organize its Customers’ supply chain by managing the freight flows from any region of the planet to a retail point in Ukraine.

"Practically this means that the Customer can order e.g. a shipment from China, and we will organize it according to the specifics of the Customer's business – by air, with deconsolidation in the warehouse in Poland or directly to Ukrainian port. After customs clearance the cargo will be delivered "to the door" of the consumer. In this case, the proximity of transit warehouse to a sea port and efficiency of shuttle system act as an important factor in lead-times and cost optimization, especially for Customers with an extensive geographical distribution network. In other words, we can take over the entire supply chain of a specific product from a manufacturers’ warehouse in China to a shelf of a retail store in a regional centre of Ukraine", - explains Daniil Popovich, Manager of Sea and Air Freight Department, Raben Ukraine.

The current market reality forces the players of logistics business to diversify their service portfolio in order to create added value for the Customer.

"Globalization of the world economy and tight integration of Ukraine in international trade open new opportunities for foreign economic activities of our Customers. Knowing this, we set even higher efficiency standards for ourselves and offer logistics solutions that can allow our Customers to gain maximum benefits from these opportunities. Thus, in May this year we opened a Cargo Customs Complex, which provides full customs clearance. And now we have supplied our Customers with new alternatives in transportation of their goods. Raben Ukraine plans to continue investing in the reliability of its services regardless of changes in the market environment", - said Boris Khruslov, Director of Raben Ukraine.

A one-stop shop principle in rendering comprehensive logistic services allows Customers to optimize time and business expenses, which directly results in reduction of transport and logistics component in the cost value of final product. Meanwhile, growing capitalization of Raben Ukraine guarantees its ability to fully comply with all obligations to Customers despite multiple objective risks in the industry.

"We are a team of professionals with extensive experience gained in multinational shipping and forwarding companies. We came to make Raben Ukraine even more efficient for our Customers. We know how to organize your logistics at the right quality level and at a reasonable price,"- says Daniil Popovich, Manager of Sea and Air Freight Department, Raben Ukraine.
