DPD in Ukraine - 2 years of successful development

Kyiv, September 16, 2009 - In September the company “DPD Ukraine”, one of the leading parcel delivery providers at the CEP market of Ukraine, celebrates the second anniversary of its activities.

"DPD Ukraine" started its activities in Ukraine in autumn 2007. During the first year of operation the company has successfully established a unified national delivery network. During 2008-2009, 5 branches in West, East and Southern regions of Ukraine were opened, as well as 19 representative offices throughout Ukraine. All this allows the company to cover over 20 000 towns and villages, including delivery to any location of 19 regions of Ukraine.

Over 2 years of its activity more than one million parcels were delivered across Ukraine. In 2008 the company has more than tripled its shipping volumes compared to 2007 and for 8 months of 2009 - has doubled the results of 2008. Turnover of DPD in Ukraine for the period January-August 2009 increased by 2 times compared to the same period in 2008. The total weight of all transported freight exceeded 10.4 thousand tons.

Highly qualified personnel of DPD in Ukraine, which amounts to more than 100 employees located on more than 3 000 m2 with a fleet of more than 150 vehicles of various capacities, operate on behalf of more than thousand customers in Ukraine.

Due to the positive development dynamics of the company and European quality of customer service «DPD Ukraine» was awarded with «Ukrainian Transport Olimp» in the nomination «National delivery network» in 2009.
