Kiev/Zurich, May 15, 2007 Credit Suisse is pleased to announce the opening of a new representative office in Kiev. This marks another major step forward in the implementation of Credit Suisse’s strategy to enhance its footprint in global growth markets. The new representative office will act as a point of contact for clients active internationally, while also providing information about wealth management services and products available in Switzerland.

Commenting on the decision to open a new representative office, Michael Vlahovic, Market Group Head of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Zurich, stated: “Credit Suisse believes that Ukraine offers considerable wealth creation opportunities as a result of its dynamic economic development.
