Zurich, April 18, 2007 Credit Suisse, a leading global financial institution with headquarters in Zurich has received an accreditation by the National Bank of Ukraine to open a new representative office in Kiev. This will mark another step forward in the implementation of the strategy of Credit Suisse to enhance its footprint in global growth markets.

The new representative office of Credit Suisse headquarters in Zurich is scheduled to open during the first half of 2007. It will act as a point of contact for clients active internationally, while also providing information about wealth management services and products available in Switzerland.

Credit Suisse has been present in the Ukraine for almost ten years, offering a range of investment banking services, including M&A advisory and capital markets advice. It has worked on a number of landmark transactions for the Government and Ukrainian companies.
