The President of India Club, Mr. Sanjeev Bhagat, is pleased to invite you for a press conference on the occasion of a presentation on the event “BRIDGE OF FRIENDSHIP – INDIA-UKRAINE 2006” which is scheduled to be held on 26th August, at the International Centre of Culture and Arts (former Oktyabrskiy Palats). The press-conference will be held on August, 23rd at UNIAN (4, Khreschatyk str.) at 13.00 hours.
“BRIDGE OF FRIENDSHIP – INDIA-UKRAINE 2006” will mark the joint celebration of the 60th Indian Independence Day and the 16th Ukrainian Independence Day. The aim of this event is to strengthen cultural and business bonds between India and Ukraine and to unite the people of these two great countries. This event is being organized by India Club with the support of Embassy of India in Ukraine and the Indian Diaspora in Ukraine.
On the evening of 26th August, 2006, you will witness wonderful performances of well known artists from Ukraine, India and Belarus, including a LIVE performance from Ani Lorak, the star-performer of the concert. Indian popular artist Krishna would be adding colour to the function with his Live performance. The Vocal group from Belarus “Cameratta” has also confirmed to give a live performance at this event. Ukrainian artists and groups will perform Ukrainian as well as Indian traditional dances. Detailed programme of the concert will be disclosed during the press-conference.
The venue has a seating capacity for 2000 people and the invitations for this event are available at the Indian restaurants “New Bombay Palace” (tel. 285-87-08) and “Himalai” (tel. 270-54-37) in Kiev. It is also possible to book your seats with the Coordinator of India Club at 8-(067)-780-71-67.
The event will be supported by a media campaign including 150 A1 size posters with Kyiv Gosspravka to be put all over Kyiv City, advertisement on radio stations like Nashe Radio, Gala Radio and Renessans and on the TV channel TRK Kiev.
