Secretary General of the United Nations Organization Kofi Annan is deeply concerned about political situation in Ukraine, when the nation is fighting in order to solve the crisis which arised after the second tour of the presidential elections of November, 21.

As UNIAN informs, Kofi Annan urges all sides of the conflict to be patient to let the constitutional process last. Legitimacy and transparency of institutions in Ukraine is vitally important for consolidation of democracy in the state.

Secretary General of the UNO urges all sides of the conflict to show restraint and avoid political statements which may threaten stability in Ukraine.

Respect of the unity of the nation, its souvereignty and territorial integrity by all sides today is vitally important for Ukraine as well as for regional and international security, Kofi Annan believes.
