Head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Joschka Fischer had positively evaluated the decision of Ukrainian Parliament to recongnize the second tour of Ukrainian elections illegal. He has called it ‘an important political event’, UNIAN informs.
Mr.Fischer said that the decision of Parliament as well as resolution about not using violence and starting negotiations between the power and the opposition ‘became an important step towards consolidation of political will of the majority of Ukrainian people’.
‘One should hope that the Central Election Committee and the Supreme Court will play their role providing true will of the voters’, the minister stated.
According to him, the role of international negotiators ‘means a lot’. He also said that ‘another election seems to be more and more smart way of solving of political crisis’.
