The EU does not accept the results of presidential elections in Ukraine. This is stated in the official report of the Netherlands. The EU is disappointed that the Central Election Commission decided to publicize the official results and states that the second tour of the elections and vote counting have fallen short of democratic standards. ‘No wonder that the results of elections have caused separation in Ukrainian society,’ the statement said. European Union urges Ukrainian authorities to investigate all complaints concerning the election process and to provide full co-operation of the CEC and international observers. The EU also urges to continue negotiations and avoid any actions which may cause violence and further worsening of the situation.
Earlier the United States stated that it does not accept the results of presidential elections in Ukraine.
