Exit Poll Technology did not prove itself to be effective in the first round because it was too politicized and used to make pressure over the public opinion rather than elucidating it, the leader of the Central Electoral HQ of Victor Yanukovich Serhiy Tihipko stated after completion of voting.

The Elections took place, not the issue is to count the votes. The people are tired from uncertainty. The sooner the CEC announces the outcome, the sooner the country will be able to return back to normal life. According to the Electoral Law, the final outcome can be defined by the CEC only on the basis of the original copies of protocols with original seals on them. The final word is on the Central Electoral Commission. Whatever it is, we will accept it, S. Tihipko stated.
